Introduction
Koala Babycare is the brainchild of two Italian engineers who wanted to solve a common problem in infant care: plagiocephaly. Starting with a detailed statistical investigation, they created a unique pillow designed to meet the needs of new parents and infants. Their innovative solution quickly gained popularity, making Koala Babycare an industry leader and leading to their pillow becoming an Amazon Best Seller with more than 20,000 units sold in the first year.
Requirement
Despite their success on Amazon, Koala Babycare wanted to reduce dependence on the platform and increase profit margins.
They needed a dedicated e-commerce that could appeal directly to mothers, their main target audience, thus optimizing revenue.
Results
The results achieved in 2019 with the new e-commerce have been outstanding:

How we did it
The Beconcept team approached the challenge with the goal of creating a minimalist, fast and extremely functional e-commerce site, perfectly in line with the needs of new parents.
We designed a tailor-made site, completely designed and built from scratch, under the direction of Andrea Ruggeri, responsible for design and user experience. The site was designed with a Mobile First and SEO Oriented approach, based on WordPress, a platform that allows for autonomous and easy management by the client.
The entire project focused on building optimized navigation, guiding users intuitively to purchase. The aesthetics of the site were influenced by the gentle shapes and distinctive colors of Koala Babycare pillows, creating a consistent and welcoming visual environment for visitors.
